Keelan Mak – Flicker

Keelan Mak – Flicker

Brisbane native Keelan Mak heals a broken heart with Flicker.

Keelan Mak has created a beautiful slow burning piece of music with Flicker. Written in his bedroom while studying at uni about a high school crush and a broken heart, Flicker is about unrequited love.

Stylistically, think bands like SAFIA and Rufus Du Sol – Keelan takes a softer approach to creating his style of music. Sombre and forlorn synths help to tell the story and carry the feeling of Flicker while Keelan sings the line “So remember my name”. Flicker nails the feeling of a broken heart.
